Forty years studying sleep: now that’s worth celebrating!

Former students, research teams, and researchers got together on the evening of November 2 to celebrate the 40 years of the Centre for Advanced Research in Sleep Medicine (French acronym: CÉAMS). For the occasion, the Centre’s founder, Dr. Jacques Montplaisir, spoke of the modest laboratory he set up in 1977 which has become the most important Francophone sleep research centre in the world and a veritable gem for Montréal’s Sacré-Cœur Hospital thanks, in part, to the support of the Foundation and its generous donors.
