The Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur-de-Montréal has been designated by the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MHSS) to receive confirmed cases of COVID-19 in adults. This designation is a great recognition of the expertise in infectious diseases, pulmonary care and advanced ventilation that has been developed over the years by its healthcare teams.
The COVID-19 pandemic will have required great mobilization efforts, but it will have demonstrated all that Sacré-Cœur team is capable of.

The 1,300 nurses, the 400 or so attendants, the 400 doctors at l’Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur-de-Montréal, the other professionals and managers of the health network are hard at work at the moment and have to show even more dedication. They are at the heart of this whole crisis and the key players. They are our caring experts our guardian angels !
Right now, they are responding to priorities, but once everything subsides, they will need to think about reorganizing their daily lives and will ask us to support the departments and services that will need them.

Thank you to this small army, mainly composed of women, who watch over us. I do not know if angels exist, but I do know I found them at l’Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur-de-Montréal.
