The Foundation of the Montreal Sacré-Cœur Hospital is pleased to welcome Dave Rhéaume to its Board of Directors.
Mr. Rhéaume currently serves as Executive Vice President — Commercial Operations and Chief Customer Relations Officer at Hydro-Québec. He is responsible for energy efficiency, customer experience, operational excellence, and pricing.
Holding a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the Université de Montréal and a master’s degree in economics from Université Laval, Mr. Rhéaume has held various economist positions within the governments of Quebec and Canada before continuing his career at Énergir from 2009 to 2018.
Highly engaged in the community, Mr. Rhéaume has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde since 2023. He has also served on the boards of several Canadian and American energy companies and has participated in a program of the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal, where he acted as a mentor for newcomers.
By joining our Foundation, Mr. Rhéaume wishes to support a hospital that plays a central role in the community and contribute to a cause especially close to his heart: mental health. “Serving on the Board of Directors is, for me, a tangible way to support an essential institution and help ensure its visibility and sustainability. I am particularly moved by the Foundation’s mental health initiatives, a crucial field for the well-being and dignity of our communities,” he says.
