My First Beanie
Souris Mini partners with the Foundation to give the experienced teams at Sacré-Cœur the means to provide the very best care to our children, from the very first moments of their lives.
A donation in honour of your baby’s birth and first hat
Through its My First Beanie program, Souris Mini offers a colourful beanie free of charge to every newborn at the Family Birthing Centre. In exchange for this symbolic and tender gesture, families are invited to make a donation. It’s a simple, voluntary contribution to thank the staff for their excellent care and for the small thoughtful touches that make time spent at the Family Birthing Centre warmer and more comforting.
100% of your donation will be dedicated to the Family Birthing Centre.
Centennial babies who will leave their mark
This year, we will be highlighting in a special way the births of the centennial babies, as we affectionately call them. The first little human born at Sacré-Cœur in 2026 is named Sia. She was born on January 1st at 2:59 a.m. at the Family Birthing Centre. She forever marks the beginning of a year filled with emotion, innovation, and collective commitment: Sacré-Cœur’s 100th anniversary.
This symbolic moment is a unique opportunity to help us provide new families and the Family Birthing Centre team with all the support they need to ensure that newborns’ first moments unfold under the best possible conditions.

The Montreal Sacré-Coeur Hospital welcomes more than 2,500 births each year. Every donation helps make babies’ lives more comfortable, and fund essential equipment that enables doctors and nurses to care for newborns even better.

A mobile incubator (neonatal stretcher system)
An essential piece of equipment for healthcare staff and for new parents whose baby needs to be transferred safely for specialized care. Thank you to Enfant Soleil, our partner in acquiring this neonatal stretcher system.
An ultrasound machine
16 fetal monitors — one per room
